Project Description
This initiative, led by Newtown Local History Group, involved producing a 158-page, illustrated book that outlined the role played by Newtown (Powys) and its residents during the First World War. Some of the research conducted for the publication predated the conflict's centenary period. Several affiliated talks were also given at the Crescent Christian Centre in the town.
