What does the area refer to?

With an Area Defined licence you do not specify the individual site details, instead you notify Ofcom of the area you wish to cover. This can be either a 50km² square, a country or you may wish to choose the United Kingdom.
You can select multiple map squares or a combination of map square(s) and countries.
