Delegated planning decisions

Important update - July 2025

We have stopped saving the monthly list of applications determined under delegated powers  to this page. The last file was saved on 25 June 2025.

A delegated items search function is available on our new planning search page.   Please update your bookmarks.

Instructions

  1. Click the Weekly / Monthly button at the bottom left of the page and then Monthly list
  2. Choose the Month or pick a date range
  3. Choose whether to list applications which had been Validated or Decided during this period
  4. Choose whether to restrict results to one or more Parish (optional)
  5. Click Search and wait a few seconds.

Several types of planning application can be determined by National Park officers under delegated powers.

The Authority's standing orders however allow for members of the Authority to request that applications which would otherwise fall under delegated powers for a decision to be determined by the Planning Committee. However there must be clear planning reasons for this and it must be agreed in writing with the Head of Development Management who consults the Chair of the Planning Committee in the making of the decision.
