Along with the team I manage, I am responsible for Kew’s Archives of 7 million items and also Kew’s records management programme. This involves the management of the curation, preservation and provision of access to the historical archives. I manage projects from concept to completion designed to liberate information held in Kew’s Archives by the appropriate application of technology, or exhibitions and publications, and collaborative working with other research institutions, including supporting fund-raising initiatives. I also manage the records management programme and policy across the whole institution.
