Registration information

We will use the information you submit:

• To send updates about the status of registered names by email (e.g. when a name is released)
• For account management (e.g. resetting password)

Use of the site and user generated content

The purpose of this site is the collation and provision of nomenclatural data for the scientific names of fungi (including yeasts, lichens, chromistan fungal analogues, protozoan fungal analogues and fossil forms) for scientific and public use. Where you submit information related to fungal names and authorship, you agree that Kew and the Index Fungorum partners have the irrevocable right to use and publish the information you submit to us to manage, update and maintain this site. This shall exclude your personal contact details, which shall be kept private.
