Our capacity building work

Ensuring a vibrant, strong civil society is recognised in a number of human rights treaties.    

We have conducted research into how civil society organisations in England and Wales engage with the international and human rights framework. 

 Our capacity-building work focuses on helping these civil society organisations to: 

• understand their rights 
• engage with UN human rights processes as a means of asserting those rights 

 We also encourage and defend their ability to advocate for change at the domestic level. 

 As part of this work, we introduce stakeholders to the UK’s international human rights obligations and demonstrate how to use our Human Rights Tracker. If your organisation would be interested in finding out more, please let us know.
