Ahead of upcoming elections, we advise political parties, candidates and campaigners to read our guidance on free expression and respectful discourse.

The guidance covers two areas for your consideration:

  • recommendations and principles for respectful discourse and fostering good relations

  • legal considerations and limits to freedom of expression in law

Liverpool Women’s Hospital: a case study on reducing race inequality in maternity care

We have worked with Liverpool Women’s Hospital (LWH) to understand how they are tackling race inequalities in maternity care.

LWH have been able to identify and address inequalities in their practices and reduce gaps in their data collection. Their progress has led to direct improvements to their clinical practices.
