Security Lighting

Introduction

Security lighting plays an important part in any site's security regime. Good quality and well planned lighting will fulfil a number of roles:

• lighting alone will provide a deterrence effect
• lighting can increase the uncertainty and vulnerability of an intruder during an intrusion
• lighting will enable detection and verification via CCTV
• lighting will support a response force
