Working with Cyber Uplift

Microsoft security services are part of Cyber Uplift’s service offering.

Where recommendations identify the need for technical changes, Cyber Uplift can provide deployed cyber enablement teams to implement those changes through hands‑on support.

Optimising Microsoft Security Solutions (OMSS)

OMSS helps you plan, implement and optimise Microsoft security tools to improve cyber resilience and information protection.

The service supports organisations with existing or planned Security Operations Centre (SOC) implementations, in line with National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) guidance.

It also helps you get full value from Microsoft security capabilities within your existing or planned licensing and subscription arrangements.

OMSS supports you across the implementation lifecycle, from early planning through to go‑live.

How OMSS is delivered

OMSS provides support in 2 areas.

Discovery

Support to help you plan how Microsoft security and compliance solutions will be used, including how to make best use of the security tools available through E3 and E5 licences.

Implementation

Support to deploy Microsoft security features for the first time, including Sentinel, Entra, Defender and Purview.

This includes guidance and best practice recommendations to help you get full value from the tools in use.

Data loss prevention using Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MPIP)

Data loss prevention using MPIP helps you protect sensitive information by applying data classification, labelling and data loss prevention controls.

This service supports organisations that need to improve how sensitive data is handled, shared and protected.

MPIP is delivered as part of the Microsoft security services offer and can be used alongside OMSS where broader optimisation or planning support is needed.
