NHS Resolution Performer and Healthcare Professional Check

Welcome to NHS Resolution’s new online Performer and Healthcare Professional Check, replacing the former Fitness to Practise Search that was hosted on the Health and Social Care Network.

This new service is designed to provide healthcare organisations, recruitment agencies, and compliance teams with a reliable platform for validating the credentials of healthcare professionals and where applicable, body corporates.

Once registered, users can quickly and easily submit Healthcare Practitioner Alert Notices (HPAN) and/or Performers List Regulations (PLR) search requests and if a potential match is found against NHS Resolution’s records it will be referred to NHS Resolution’s Advice and/or Appeals services for further analysis and the enquirer will be informed of the next steps.

User access policy and auditing

The CaseHub system is designed for use by individuals only, not shared or generic mailboxes, to maintain the security and accountability of the system. If you have a colleague who also requires access, please direct them to our webform via the Register button below, where they can request to have an individual user account created.

NHS Resolution will conduct regular audits of active accounts. As part of these checks, we will also verify that users are employed by an organisation that is an employer of NHS staff to ensure appropriate and legitimate access to the system. During these audits, any account that does not clearly belong to a named individual (for example, a shared mailbox or generic email account) will be flagged for review. If no valid individual user can be confirmed, the account will be deactivated.

Registered users are responsible for ensuring their contact information remains accurate and up to date.
