This End User Licence Agreement (“Agreement”) sets out the terms on which you (“you”, “user”, or “end user”) may access and use this website (the “Site”) and any associated content, documents, images, media, and information (the “Content”), provided by the Regional Drug and Therapeutics Centre (“the RDTC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By using the Site, you agree to be legally bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.
1. Ownership and Intellectual Property
All Content on this Site is protected by copyright, database rights, and/or other intellectual property rights under UK law and international treaties. Unless otherwise stated, all rights belong to the Regional Drug and Therapeutics Centre.
Unless explicitly permitted, no part of the Content may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any means without prior written permission from the RDTC.
2. Licence Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:
- Access and use the Site and its Content for personal, non-commercial, informational purposes only.
- Download or print publicly available materials solely for lawful and non-commercial use.
You may not:
- Copy, redistribute, or publish any Content for commercial gain or external publication.
- Modify or alter any Content without written consent.
- Use the Site to infringe any third-party rights or laws.
- Claim any association or endorsement by the RDTC without express permission.
If you are using materials under the Open Government Licence (OGL) or other stated terms, such usage must comply with the specific licence conditions indicated on the relevant content.
3. Prohibited Uses
You must not use the Site:
- For commercial exploitation or resale.
- To misrepresent or misattribute RDTC-originated materials.
- In a manner that damages, impairs or interferes with our Site or services.
- To extract data or Content using automated means without our express written permission.
4. Monitoring and Enforcement
We reserve the right to:
- Monitor use of the Site to ensure compliance with this Agreement.
- Take legal action to prevent unauthorised reproduction, reuse, or redistribution of Content.
- Withdraw or suspend your access if you breach these terms.
5. Disclaimer and Liability
The Site and its Content are provided “as is” for general information only and do not constitute professional or medical advice.
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations or other terms which may apply, and we shall not be liable for any loss or damage (direct or indirect) arising from reliance on the Site or Content.
Nothing in this Agreement limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or any other liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.
The RDTC is committed to the highest editorial and ethical standards in the provision of all its content. In all instances, we strive to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information presented, based on the best available evidence. However, no guarantees are made that the information on the Site or Content are accurate, complete and current at any given time. No responsibility can be accepted by the RDTC for any errors, omissions, action or inaction arising from reliance on the Site or Content.
6. Data Protection

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement and any disputes arising from it are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
