Specialty Associate Specialists and Specialist (SAS) doctors are a vital part of the NHS workforce.

As part of our ongoing medical education reform work, we want to provide better support to SAS doctors. All SAS doctors deserve to work in an organisation that is committed to the development of their needs. They are a huge asset to the NHS and should be trained and retained by the service.
