FutureNHS played a vital role in the response to the pandemic and is continuing to support recovery and transformation.
FutureNHS is enabling a culture shift in how the health and care system works.
Continual user-centred improvement
There has been a stream of improvements. The FutureNHS team needs to keep taking these forward to help users find content and workspaces, and actively support workspace managers through enabling peer to peer support and improved training. Improvements should be based on listening to users and workspace managers, including via surveys.
FutureNHS is a success story
The leadership and support teams are excellent. They are running the largest collaboration platform of its kinds and at the forefront of new ways of working across organisational boundaries, bringing teams together as a force for good. It performs well and there is evidence it is liked.

We now have a community that spans the whole of England, with people from a huge range of professional backgrounds and expertise – and everybody talks to each other to ask questions and solve problems."
Sally Boyes, Project Manager - Content and Communications
“The forum does act like an innovation hub – members are enthusiastic to join in conversations. Sometimes threads do explode and people share ideas.”
