Impact story: Public Health Intelligence Online 

Purpose

The Futures team helped the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities create Public Health Intelligence Online, including switching content and members from their previous platform.

The workspace is a one-stop-resource for public health intelligence content, including news and events, training, national discussion forum, tools and resource, and regional areas for local resources and local discussion.

It is aimed at public health professionals and people who use public health intelligence in government organisations, the NHS, academia and the voluntary sector organisations.

Benefits

• This workspace brings together the public health intelligence community of England to connect with their Local Knowledge and Intelligence Service and the wider public health intelligence community, discover the resources open to them, and learn and develop their analytical skills. 
• It is enabling an online public health intelligence community that creates connections between people and resources to support a public health intelligence system that is greater than the sum of its parts.
