Impact story: NHS England National Adult and Older Adult Mental Health Programme

Purpose

This workspace helps staff working across the adult and older adult mental health sector to improve services and ensure people can access the care they need closer to home.  

The workspace brings together resources and information to support the delivery of the adult and older adults mental health programme.   

There are sections for: community and primary care, crisis and acute mental health, winter pressures, suicide prevention, older people's mental health and capital.  Members can access recordings of online sessions supporting key priorities.

  • The NHS is placing more national focus than ever before on mental health and the workspace has helped mobilise efforts to improve outcomes.
