Impact story: Productivity and Efficiency Hub 

Purpose

NHS England's finance directorate developed the Productivity and Efficiency (P&E) Improvement Hub to better equip NHS staff with the resources they need to improve productivity and efficiency in the NHS.

The hub is a single go-to place to support and enable the planning and delivery of P&E improvements across the NHS. The hub provides:

• support to deliver national priorities,
• information for planning requirements
• a range of insights to support understanding of P&E opportunities
• signposting to NHS communities involved with P&E improvements

Benefits

• NHS staff are better able to navigate the range of national P&E programmes and can use a directory for all P&E resources.
