Impact story: Vaccinations and Screening

Purpose

Building on the experience of using Futures to support the response to the Covid-19 pandemic, this workspace was set up in 2022 and now fundamentally underpins delivery of NHS England’s vaccination and screening programmes by providing timely, easily accessible information.

There are daily (often multiple) uploads of key information that commissioners and providers need to run the programmes. 

Benefits

• The workspace brings together key programme information, reports/dashboards, good practice and innovation produced by NHS England for vaccination and screening commissioners and providers.
• The national team can control who sees what by setting access restrictions to each piece of information.
• Commissioners and providers have a clear overall picture and can be confident they have access to the latest information, and clear points of contact if they need more support.
