- Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Compare - (IHME) The Global Burden of Disease (GBD) study provides a comprehensive picture of mortality and disability across countries, time, age, and sex. It quantifies health loss from hundreds of diseases, injuries, and risk factors, so that health systems can be improved and disparities eliminated
- Government Statistical Services (GSS) Interactive Tools - (GSS) Explore and search data on Adult social care, Crime and justice, Equalities, Health and care, Housing and Planning, Homelessness, Income and Earnings, Migration. The GSS Interactive Tools will be discontinued on the Analysis Function website on 31st March 2026. The tools will remain live until this date.
- Health of the region data explorer (OHID) An interactive report which brings together a regional and local authority view of the latest annual public health data and indicators. Last updated 24 February 2026.
- Health Profile for England, 2017 - (PHE) A report combining data and knowledge with information from other sources to give a broad picture of the health of people in England in 2017.
- Health Profile for England, 2021 - (PHE) The fourth annual profile combining data and knowledge with information from other sources to give a broad picture of the health of people in England in 2021
- Health Survey for England - (NHSE) Survey monitoring trends in the nation’s health and care, providing information about adults aged 16 and over, and children aged 0 to 15, living in private households in England. Each survey includes core questions (e.g. about smoking, alcohol, general health); measurements such as height, weight, and blood pressure; and analysis of blood and saliva samples. In addition, there are question modules on specific topics that vary from year to year.
- Health Trends in England - (DHSC) Tool to summarise key information about the health of people in England and how it has changed over time. It is intended to provide an overview for the public in an accessible way.
- Inclusion health data and intelligence resource for England - (OHID and NHSE) This interactive inclusion health resource contains a summary of statistics already in the public domain and provides supporting information for organisations and networks to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Local Authority Health Profiles - (OHID) Fingertips profile provide an overview of health for each local authority in England. The profiles pull together existing information and data on a range of indicators for local populations, highlighting issues that can affect health in each locality. The aim of the profile is to help local government and health services make plans to improve the health of their local population and reduce health inequalities

- Public Health Outcomes Framework (PHOF) - (OHID) Fingertips profile focusing on overarching indicators, wider determinants of health, health improvement, health protection, healthcare and premature mortality
- Spend and Outcomes Tool (SPOT) - (OHID) Tool to support local commissioners improve people's health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities through better information about value for money. SPOT is designed for those interested in spend and outcomes across the public sector, from public health to education, housing or social care.
