> Accelerating progress on digital transformation by sharing peer learning in high quality blueprints
Purpose
The Blueprinting programme is helping NHS organisations deliver quicker and more cost-effective digitisation, leading to better health outcomes and improved staff experience.
Blueprinting forms a key part of the ‘support offer’ for frontline trusts, health providers and ICBs across the health and care system. Blueprints provide step-by-step guides to NHS organisations to enable them to carry out digital transformation more quickly and cost-effectively.
NHS England’s Blueprinting programme developed the workspace as a way to share the detailed Blueprints on how to digitise the NHS.
They have now worked with over 100 NHS Trusts and healthcare organisations to produce Blueprints. Around ninety percent of all NHS Trusts are registered on this platform, with over 4,600 users from different care settings including primary and social care.
Benefits
- The workspace is helping deliver digital NHS services at scale for patients, staff and the public.
- It has allowed NHS organisations to learn from the experience of their peers and access detailed step-by-step guidance, resources and assets, and therefore accelerated progress based on good practice, avoiding the need to ‘reinvent the wheel.’
