Purpose

Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) is a national programme designed to improve the treatment and care of patients through in-depth review of services, benchmarking, and presenting a data-driven evidence base to support change. 

This national workspace for Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) provides a secure platform through which NHS trusts can access their GIRFT data and related information for the purpose of service improvement.

Benefits

  • Futures allows the GIRFT programme to share a rich mix of data products and outputs in a controlled fashion e.g. data packs, observation notes, plans. 
  • The GIRFT programme can also share core information and updates about the GIRFT programme, of interest to GIRFT's clinical community.
  • This is helping ensure safe and high-quality care in the right place and at the right time for patients.
