  • Cancer Quality of Life Survey - (NHSE and NDRS) The Cancer Quality of Life Survey is a national survey for people in England who have had a cancer diagnosis. People are invited to complete the survey around 18 months after diagnosis.
  • Cancer Registration Statistics - (NHSE) This publication reports on newly diagnosed cancers registered in England during 2022
  • Cancer Survival in England, Cancers diagnosed 2018 to 2022, followed up to 2023 - (NHSE) This release summarises the survival of adults aged 15 to 99 years diagnosed with cancer in England between 2018 and 2022 with follow-up to the end of 2023. Adult cancer survival estimates are presented by cancer group, age at diagnosis, deprivation, gender, stage at diagnosis, hormone receptor status (Breast only), and health geography.

  • Cancer Staging at Diagnosis - (NDRS) This tool contains information on staging data in England, as collected and compiled by the National Disease Registration Service.
  • Cancer Waiting Times - (NHSE) Statistics on cancer waiting times
  • Cervical Screening Programme, England - 2023-2024 - (NHSE) This statistical report covers the NHS Cervical Screening Programme for England in 2023-2024. It includes data on the call and recall system, on screening samples examined by pathology laboratories and on subsequent referrals to colposcopy clinics.
  • Get Data Out - (NDRS and NHSE) The Get Data Out programme from the National Disease Registration Service (NDRS) publishes in-depth, anonymous data about cancer to support research.
  • GP Bowel Screening Tool (Cancer Research) This tool explores how socio-demographic factors may affect screening coverage. It compares estimates for coverage based on local socio-demographic factors against actual screening coverage for GP practice areas across England.
  • National Cancer Patient Experience survey 2024 (Picker Europe) Feedback is used to understand where care is working well and how NHS cancer services across England can be improved. Results from the survey are used by providers to improve the experience of cancer patients at a national, regional, and local level.
  • National GP Profiles: Cancer - (OHID) Fingertips profile on prevalence and incidence of cancer, screening and urgent referrals. Please note: Cancer service indicators will be updated in Spring 2026 but are not included in the GP profiles anymore.
  • Number of Cancer Cases by Diagnosis Trust - NDRS - (NHSE) - A dashboard exploring the Number of cancers by Diagnosis Trust uses data from the National Disease Registration Service. By Trust and cancer site, numbers for single years are provided by age-group, deprivation, ethnic group and gender.
  • Mortality Profile - Data | Fingertips | Department of Health and Social Care - (OHID) Fingertips indicators showing data on mortality rates by Sex and cancer type. There are also indicators showing under 75 mortality rate from cancers considered preventable.
  • Staging completeness dashboard - (NDRS) Dashboard reporting completeness of staging data for cases discussed at multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) submitted by NHS trusts to the National Disease Registration Service (NDRS)
