CDM Lens: Supply Chain

The supply chain lens is designed to standardise the definition and tracking of all physical resources essential for delivering health and care.

This includes data relating to the procurement, logistics, inventory, and consumption of medicines, medical devices, equipment, and general consumables. Establishing this consistent data structure ensures end-to-end visibility across the supply chain, facilitating better demand forecasting, reducing wastage, and optimising procurement processes to secure best value. Ultimately, this lens supports robust operational continuity and directly impacts the quality and availability of essential care resources.
