The user support section includes a range of resources to support members to use PHI/Online and FutureNHS, as well as an opportunity to provide feedback on PHI/Online and to request content to be added.
About
PHI/Online is run by national and local LKIS teams from the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities. It is built on the FutureNHS platform. We are always looking to develop and improve this workspace, in line with user need, so if you have feedback please share it through our forms

FutureNHS support
- FutureNHS support Centre provides a useful place to ask questions, locate instructions and view videos on all aspects of FutureNHS
- Contacting a workspace manager provides instructions of how to contact workspace managers.
- Uploading documents provides information and a video demonstrating how to upload documents
- Editing documents provides information on how to edit documents (where permissions allow)
- FutureNHS support blue support button in bottom right opens a contact us form to raise queries with FutureNHS

Top tips for members
- Carousels - Click on the grey dots to stop the carousel from moving and navigate between sections
- Discussion forums - Where possible, ask questions in the national discussion forum to enable more users to see and respond to your question. Only post questions in the forum for your region if it is regional specific. Threads on common topics have already been set up, so please use these if applicable
- Events calendar - Open the full page PHI/Online events calendar to see all published events. Evens are colour coded to allow users to see whether they are national (open to all), regionally focused but open to others, or closed events. The calendar view can be changed to week, month, year or list view
- Merge multiple accounts - If you have multiple accounts and you want to merge them into one email address use the blue support button in the bottom right of the screen or email support@futurenhs.zendesk.com to get in touch with the FutureNHS support team
- Navigation - In addition to the menu on the left-hand side, please also make use of the "breadcrumb" navigation across the top of the screen (below the pink FutureNHS bar). For example > Public Health Intelligence Online > Resources > Resources by topic area
- Notifications - You can change which email notifications you receive and change the frequency of notifications when you are logged into the platform. Instructions for how to do this are available here
- OHID research and statistics publications - For the recently published and upcoming research and statistics publications from OHID, please ensure that you refresh the browser to see the results
- Page layout - The blue and pink bars at the top of the screen are for the overall FutureNHS website. Everything below the pink bar is specific to the workspace - in this case PHI/Online. The exception being the blue "Support" button in the bottom right-hand corner. Please ensure that you scroll down to see all of the content on each page.
- Subscribe - You can subscribe to content in the workspace by clicking the wifi icon in the top right. Details available: Subscribing to content on FutureNHS – FutureNHS Support Centre BETA (zendesk.com)
- Update your email address - You can easily change the email address for your account by clicking on your profile, here is how to do it: Changing the email address on your FutureNHS account – FutureNHS Support Centre BETA (zendesk.com)
