Helen Campbell was appointed interim Executive Director, Delivery in August 2025. Prior to this, she served as Senior Director for Sector Performance from November 2023, where she championed improved performance and corporate behaviours across water companies, while driving innovation throughout the sector.
Helen brings extensive experience from senior leadership roles, including Director of Strategy, Performance and Assurance at the Infrastructure and Projects Authority. She also spent 13 years at National Grid, holding several director-level positions, most recently as Director of Strategy, Performance and Assurance for National Grid Gas Transmission.
With a background spanning consulting, financial services, and the energy sector, Helen holds a degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham and an MA in European Economics from the College of Europe.
