Salary: £37,900.00 per annum

We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Carpenter & Joiner to join a reputable contractor specialising in social housing repairs and maintenance. The role involves delivering high-standard reactive repairs, refurbishment works, and planned maintenance across residential properties throughout Staines-upon-Thames.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out routine and responsive carpentry repairs in occupied residential properties as part of a maintenance service.
  • Replacing and repairing internal doors, frames, handles, locks, and hinges.
  • Fitting and adjusting kitchen units, worktops, cupboard doors, and pelmets.
  • Installing or replacing skirting boards, architraves, and other decorative joinery.
  • Repairing or replacing timber flooring, stair components, and handrails as required.
  • Making good following repairs, including basic patch plastering or tiling where needed.
  • Using a PDA device to manage, update, and close work orders in real time, ensuring accurate recording of job progress, materials used, and completion notes.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
  • Basic Criminal Record Check (DBS)
