This document provides updated guidance to our stakeholders and water companies on our regulatory and commercial expectations where water companies are developing projects to be delivered using Direct Procurement for Customers (DPC). This document supersedes the previous version of the DPC guidance issued in 2023. This document should be read alongside the standard draft CAP Agreement, which will be published in mid-2026.
Ofwat welcomes comments on our Release 2.0 of this guidance. Comments should be sent to [email protected] by 5:00pm on Friday, 31 July 2026.
We will be hosting a webinar at 2:15-3:00pm on the 16 June 2026 for investors and supply chain participants. This session will give a brief overview of both the SIPR and DPC guidance and give attendees an opportunity to ask questions.
