Summary

About the role

We’re looking for someone to develop, deliver and evaluate marketing strategies and campaigns that support the University’s wider strategic priorities across business engagement, research and innovation, civic engagement, alumni development, donor relations and commercial activity.

The role will also support the creation and delivery of marketing materials for the Institute of Policing.

Main Responsibilities

The main responsibilities for our Marketing Officer (B2B and Apprenticeships) will be to:

1. Work with colleagues in Employer Engagement to create and own B2B and apprenticeship marketing campaign plans which drive traffic to the University website through multi-channels e.g. print, digital, external third party platforms, social activity or paid.

2. Develop specific B2B and apprenticeship marketing campaigns, including marketing to employers and raising awareness amongst potential apprentices.

3. Create monthly B2B and apprenticeship recruitment marketing reports and quarterly reports that review activity and outline future activity for postgraduate recruitment, whilst monitoring and analysing all media and digital activity to maximise efficiencie

4. Own B2B and apprenticeship specific literature and content plans, ensuring content is produced on the right platform at the right time by working with stakeholders to ensure these plans meet the needs of the Academic Schools.

5. Work with teams across Marketing and Recruitment, in conjunction with the Marketing Managers, to ensure that web, social media, Customer Relationship Management and outreach activity are tailored to the specific needs of B2B and apprenticeship prospects

6. Work with Market Insight and Planning and Business Intelligence teams to provide relevant market intelligence and data for both new course proposals and to advise on current portfolios.
