The role
We’re looking for a Residential Social Care Worker to join our specialist residential team. You’ll help create a safe, supportive home environment for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, building strong relationships and being a positive, reliable adult in their lives.
This role is hands-on, rewarding and relationship focused.
What you’ll do
· Provide warm, child-centred residential care
· Build trusted relationships and support emotional wellbeing
· Promote positive behaviour through clear boundaries and consistency
· Support education, routines, activities, and independence
· Work as part of a supportive, experienced team
What we’re looking for
· Experience working with children or young people (care, education or similar)
· Confidence supporting young people with SEMH needs
· A calm, empathetic and resilient approach
· Level 3 qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
· Commitment to safeguarding and professional practice
Residential experience is welcome but not essential.
