Registered Children's Home Manager - 3 Bed EBD
Location: Erdington
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum

Requirements:
• A recognized qualification in social work, nursing, or a relevant field (Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services or equivalent)
• Proven experience in managing a children’s residential care home, preferably with LD and EBD
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards
• Strong leadership, management, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage complex situations effectively
• Commitment to promoting the rights, welfare, and development of children
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the team to ensure high-quality care and full compliance with regulations and standards.
• Develop and maintain effective policies, procedures, and a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee personalised care plans to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of each child.
• Work collaboratively with social workers, families, and other professionals to provide holistic support.
• Ensure the home meets Ofsted and safeguarding requirements through regular audits, inspections, and quality reviews.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and support staff, promoting ongoing professional development and a positive team culture.
• Manage the home’s budget and resources effectively, maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for children.
• Promote and uphold safeguarding practices to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the home.
