Summary
Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC machines, including selecting and installing appropriate tooling and fixtures
- Operate CNC machinery for milling and other machining processes to produce components according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to minimise downtime
- Use hand tools and power tools for auxiliary tasks such as part inspection, assembly, or minor adjustments
- Conduct quality checks on finished parts, ensuring adherence to tolerances and standards
Qualifications/Skills:
- Proven experience in CNC programming with milling operations
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and tooling setup for manufacturing tasks
- Basic mathematical skills for calculations related to measurements and tolerances
- Experience with CAD/CAM software is desirable but not essential
