Summary

Female Support Workers

Pay rate: £13 - £14 per hour but can vary depending on the package of care.
Shift pattern:24 hours and 36 hours available - Mixture of shorter shifts and 12 hour shifts - 5:30am - 8:30am, 14:30pm - 21:30pm, 21:30pm - 9:00am, 7:30am - 19:00pm, 8:00am - 20:00pm and 20:00pm - 20:00am - The shift patterns may vary slightly depending on the package of care you are successful for.

If you're successful after a 1st stage Telephone Interview you will be invited along to our Assessment Day in Doncaster on Thursday 28th May, Arrival at 9:45am - 16:00pm - This is a Mandatory Stage in our recruitment process.

We’re seeking caring, reliable and confidentFemale Support Workers to join our dedicated care team in Doncaster. You’ll be supporting individuals with complex care needs, including severe learning disabilities, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and a wide range of additional conditions, helping them live safely, comfortably and with dignity.

What will your shift involve but not limited to (Dependant on package of care)

  • Providing high quality and compassionate care
  • Jej and PEG feeding

  • Drainage and feral bags

  • Oral suction

  • Nebuliser use

  • Moving and Handling tasks

  • Sensory activities

  • Supporting out into the community
  • Supporting with day to day living

You do not need clinical qualifications as full training is provided but you must be comfortable working around medical equipment, tubes, and a fast‑paced care routine. For someone without prior experience, the setup can look daunting, so confidence and willingness to learn are essential.

  • Confident supporting someone with complex health needs (training provided)
  • Excellent spoken and written English,clear communication is vital
  • Physically able to support a strong young person during movement and care tasks
  • You must not be restricted to the amount of hours you can work
  • Compassionate, patient and person‑centred

  • Comfortable working 1:1

  • Able to read and respond to non‑verbal communication

  • Comfortable working in a busy family homes

  • Happy to get involved in sensory activities, pampering and community outings

  • Reliable & Observant

  • Comfortable and Confident communicating with emergency services
