We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting people to remain independent in their own home . This role involves working closely with clients to ensure their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

We recently had a carer start working with us full time and she said "I can't believe I get paid to visit lovely people and chat to them!!"
With all of our calls the companionship is so important. Some clients needs support with personal care, some need meals preparing for them, some need taking to appointments, each call is so different but all calls are so rewarding.
The last two carers who joined Able Living Care, came from very different career paths. They have done some training, shadowed experienced carers and are now out in the community making a difference to peoples lives.

We care for our clients from 7:30 in the morning until 10:30 in the evening 7 days a week.
Our staff work various shifts that fit in with their own lifestyles.

What we ask from a candidate looking to work in home care:
Willingness to demonstrate our values
Has a full UK driving license
Has access to a car they can use for business travel
Willing to work within our 6 mile radius of our Poynton office
A commitment to work every other weekend
Responsibilities
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
Implement behaviour management strategies for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and follow individualised care plans.
Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Assist with light housekeeping tasks as needed to maintain a clean living environment.
Experience
Previous experience is not essential as training is provided
A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules.
