We specialise in high-quality structural steel solutions for the rail industry, including bridges, gantries, and infrastructure support, with a strong commitment to safety, precision, and reliability.
About the Role
We are seeking experienced Civil Engineering Track Operatives to support weekend railway infrastructure projects across the UK. This role is offered on a zero-hours contract basis and is ideal for operatives with a strong background in railway civil engineering and installation works.
Candidates must have proven experience in:
• Installations
• Refurbishment works
• LOC bases
• Foundations
• Handrail installation
• Hardstands
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out civil engineering works on railway projects, including installations, groundwork, structural tasks, and refurbishment works
• Assist with LOC base installations, foundations, handrail installations, and hardstand construction
• Work in accordance with all railway safety standards and site procedures
• Support site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork at all times
Requirements
• Proven experience working in civil engineering within the railway sector
• Essential experience in installations, refurbs, LOC bases, foundations, handrail installation, and hardstands
• PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification highly desirable
• Strong understanding of railway safety standards and procedures
• Ability to work weekends and travel to various UK sites as required
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a site team
• Full UK Driving Licence
