The Role

This is an exciting, varied role, where no two days are the same! As a Support Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting 2 young men after finishing school.

You'll take an active interest in their hobbies which include going for day trips, travelling, going to the cinema and exploring the local area. We will be looking for you to find new ways to enjoy their hobbies as well as learning more about them and how to develop their interests.

Have a full UK manual drivers licence would be beneficial for this role but it's not a deal breaker for the right candidate.

At Cornerstone, we don't recruit on experience and qualifications; we're more interested in what you as a person will bring to our team! We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need to build your career within the Health & Social Care sector. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

A caring attitude and approach
Good communication skills
A positive approach to learning
An understanding of the importance of routines and guidelines
Confidence in the use of computers.

Shift Patterns

Our dedicated team provides tailored care for the gentlemen and shift patterns will fall during the day (term time) and on weekends.
