CNC Lathe Setter Operator (Full Time 39 hours per week) (Permanent)
Solid Swivel Company Ltd, Cradley Heath, would like to recruit an experienced CNC Lathe Setter Operator.
Established in 1910 the Company has a long history of manufacturing quality engineered products here in the midlands and is a renowned local employer.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Programming, setting and operating of CNC Lathes for safe operation.
• Setting-up and safe operation of conventional drilling, milling, turning, threading and other machining processes.
• Checking of components against Engineering Drawings and/or work instructions after machining.
• Undertaking training as required for the role.
Relevant (Preferred) Knowledge & Experience:
• General setting & operating of conventional drilling, milling, turning, threading processes.
• XYZ Lathes (XYZ Controller)
• Mazak VMC – 4 axis (Mazatrol Controller)
• Leadwell VMC – 4 axis (Mitsubishi Controller)
• Deckel Maho DMC (Heidenhain Controller)
• CAD/CAM applications & software
• Fork Lift Truck Driving
Hourly Rate - Dependent upon knowledge and experience.
36 days holiday per year.
