We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Assembly Operatives to join busy manufacturing teams in Blackburn. These roles involve assembling precision components to a high standard, following detailed work instructions, and supporting production targets in a quality-driven environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing quality results. The successful candidate will play an important part in supporting production output and maintaining the standards expected in a specialist manufacturing environment.
Key duties:
• Assemble small components accurately and efficiently.
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Carry out visual checks to ensure quality and consistency.
• Use hand tools and assembly equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
• Work to production targets while maintaining high standards.
• Report any faults, defects, or issues to the supervisor.
• Support wider production tasks when required.
Person specification:
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is desirable.
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Able to follow instructions and work to quality standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
