Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a full range of Trading Standards duties, including inspections, investigations, and enforcement action
- Ensure businesses comply with relevant legislation including consumer protection and weights and measures laws
- Conduct inspections of premises, goods, and services
- Investigate complaints and potential breaches, gathering evidence where required
- Prepare case files and support legal proceedings where necessary
- Provide advice and guidance to businesses and consumers
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
