Brazer / Soldering Assembler – Droitwich

Pay: £15.50 per hour | Hours: 39 per week – Day Shift

We’re on the hunt for a skilled Brazer/Soldering Assembler to join our fast-growing production team in Droitwich. If you take pride in your work, love getting things done right the first time, and thrive in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment, this role is made for you!

What You’ll Do
  • Assemble and fabricate copper and aluminium bus bars with pinpoint precision.
  • Perform top-notch brazing and soldering operations – your work powers the systems of tomorrow.
  • Inspect, measure, and perfect every component – quality is your middle name.
  • Prepare surfaces for flawless joins: cleaning, degreasing, fluxing – you know the drill.
  • Use and maintain hand tools, soldering irons, torches, and other equipment like a pro.
  • Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to solve problems on the spot.
  • Keep your workstation spotless and safe – safety first, always.
  • Document your work accurately and report any issues promptly.
    Who We’re Looking For

    Must-Haves:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in soldering, brazing, or electrical/mechanical assembly.
    • Skilled in silver soldering and torch brazing.
    • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
    • Knowledge of bus bar systems and components.
    • Eagle-eyed attention to detail and strong safety mindset.

      Nice-to-Haves:

      • Soldering/brazing certifications (IPC-A-610, AWS B2.2).
      • Experience in UL or ISO-certified environments.
      • Familiarity with copper, aluminium, and tin-plated materials.
