Behaviour Support Assistants – Immediate Start Available

A specialist SEND school based near Ely is looking to appoint Behaviour Support Assistants to join their dedicated pastoral and support team immediately.

These rewarding roles involve supporting pupils with additional needs both in and outside the classroom, helping to manage behaviour, promote positive engagement, and provide tailored support on a 1:1 and small group basis. Duties may also include safeguarding responsibilities, pastoral support, and general teaching assistant tasks.

The school has a well-established and welcoming support team, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates who are calm, resilient, and passionate about supporting young people.

To be considered, candidates must:

Have previous experience working in a school setting or within a behaviour-based support role
Be confident supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour and additional needs
Demonstrate a nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Be available for an immediate start
This role would suit candidates with backgrounds in SEND, youth work, mentoring, care, mental health support, or behaviour intervention.

Reasons to join the TimePlan team:

We put you first – listening and understanding the type of work you are looking for
