A well-established and growing catering business based in West Bromwich, is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Indian Curry Chef to join their kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef with expertise in authentic Indian cuisine to work in a dynamic catering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a wide variety of traditional Indian curry dishes to a high standard
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
Support menu development and contribute new dish ideas
Ensure compliance with all food hygiene and safety regulations
Manage stock levels and kitchen organisation
Work effectively in a fast-paced catering setting
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as an Indian Curry Chef or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Desirable Skills:
Experience within a catering or high-volume kitchen environment
Knowledge of multiple regional Indian cuisines
