HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver – Glasgow – 4 Days (Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri) – Set Runs – Guaranteed Day Rate
Job Description (copy/paste):
We are looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 (Cat C) driver for planned set runs with regular customers (organised routes – not random heavy multi-drop).
Working days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (Wednesday OFF).
Hours:
• Monday 09:30–16:00
• Tuesday 09:30–17:50
• Thursday 09:30–16:00
• Friday 09:30–16:00
(Finish times route/traffic dependent)
Pay: £136.50 per day guaranteed (paid in full even if you finish early).
Equivalent rate (estimate): approx. £19.62/hour based on the above hours (day-rate role, not hourly).
Work: Mostly local/regional Central Belt runs. Occasional longer same-day run (details at interview).
Vehicle: Take-home truck may be available (subject to approval and secure parking; business use only).
Requirements: Cat C licence, Driver CPC, digital tachograph card.
