Are you ready to take the next step in your career and help shape the future of young people’s mental health? We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Operational Team Manager to join Cheshire MHST
We are looking for a Team Manager who will form part of the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) leadership team. The Team Manager will support Clinical Co-ordinators and Clinical Leads in the day to day running of the MHST. They will oversee the management of the admin and Business Information functions and support the scale up of our evidenced based programmes Experience in Project Management is desirable and an understanding of the education sector alongside children and young people's mental health provision.
The base will be negotiated with the successful applicant and Flexible / Hybrid working will be accommodated
• Lead day‑to‑day service operations, ensuring the MHST delivers timely, high‑quality support to schools, children and young people
• Manage and support staff, including supervision oversight, workload planning, performance monitoring and adherence to mandatory training
• Take a lead role in the development and evaluation of projects and the overall service
• Oversee service performance, using data, outcomes and feedback to monitor effectiveness and meet national MHST benchmarking
• Ensure safe and effective clinical processes, including risk management, safeguarding coordination and adherence to governance frameworks
• Drive service development and improvement, identifying challenges, implementing solutions and supporting innovation within the team
• Work collaboratively with partners, including local authorities, 0-18 CYPMHS, senior leaders and other stakeholders to maintain integrated support
• Manage operational resources, such as staffing, scheduling, reporting and supporting recruitment where required
