Hours - Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm

Contract Type - Long-Term

Are you an experienced Outreach mentor, seeking a new opportunity within SEMH? We are working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Salford to recruit a calm and resilient Outreach Mentor to join their team from September.

The school supports pupils aged between 11-18, with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be supporting pupils in the community, promoting engagement and development.

As an Outreach Mentor, you will:
- Work 1:1 with pupils, promoting both academic and emotional development
- Reguarly communicate with parents and SLT
- Take attendance in mornings and report to SLT

What we are looking for:
- Previous experience supporting Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
- A full, clean UK driving license and access to a car is essential for this position
- Comfortable delivering and preparing 1:1 lessons
- Team Teach training is highly desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
