Summary
Kardashev Institute — Research Body
The Kardashev Institute is an independent research body focused on civilisational-scale challenges: green economy transition, carbon markets, existential risk mitigation, and the structural conditions for a sustainable global economy. We are seeking a fundraiser to build our grants and foundation income programme from the ground up — identifying research funders, developing applications, and establishing long-term institutional relationships.
We are looking for someone who has
1. A commitment to the underlying causes and philosophy
2. A willingness to experiment and try new things
3. Comfort operating in a pre-revenue, early-stage environment
4. Familiarity with the climate, sustainability, or policy funding landscape
5. The patience to build relationships over long timescales
