Summary

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness?

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Rough Sleeping Support Worker to join our Housing Options Team. In this vital role, you will support individuals who are rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness, helping them access suitable accommodation and sustain their tenancies. Youandrsquo;ll work directly with clients in the community through outreach, including street counts, while building strong links with local services to provide tailored, person-centred support.

The role involves delivering day-to-day support to rough sleepers and those at risk, carrying out outreach activities such as street sweeps, and supporting individuals placed in both temporary and permanent accommodation. Youandrsquo;ll work closely with housing providers, social care and mental health services to ensure coordinated support, and help clients develop and progress their Personalised Housing Plans. Flexibility is key, as the role includes responding to emergencies and occasional out-of-hours work.

Weandrsquo;re looking for someone with at least 12 monthsandrsquo; experience in housing, homelessness or support services, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You should be confident working both independently and as part of a team, with experience supporting vulnerable adults and collaborating with partner agencies. A commitment to equality, safeguarding and excellent customer service is essential.
