I am looking for Residential Support Worker's to join a fantastic charity who support vulnerable young people in the UK via their homes based in Newark

Based in their residential community, you will work with young people aged 5-18 who have suffered severe childhood trauma linked to exploitation, neglect, domestic violence and abuse. Your role will be to work with them to help them understand their trauma and help them re-establish a positive view of the world.

The Residential Support Worker role requires full commitment, this is a serious career path that requires self-sacrifice in order to ensure the young people are always put first and receive the support they need. The job will involve long hours overnight sleep in shifts, alternate weekends, sometimes you will need to stay beyond your shift ending to ensure safe handover or bed time routines.

  • Experience working with challenging behaviours and complex emotional needs
