We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of all children in our care. Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance and training as needed to enhance their professional development.
Foster a positive atmosphere by effectively communicating with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns.
Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and other essential documentation.
Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and stimulating for all children.
Collaborate with local agencies and community resources to support families and enhance nursery services.
Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity within the nursery setting.
Qualifications
A Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is essential as a minimum.
Previous experience in childcare or managing a nursery setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their developmental needs.
Ability to drive initiatives that promote child welfare and educational excellence within the nursery environment.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in early childhood education is an advantage.
