We have an exciting opportunity to join the Speech and Language Therapy Team at Salford Royal Hospital. This is a rotational post working across the following clinical areas: acute surgical and medical wards, neurology, stroke and major trauma.

You will be part of a supportive team of highly skilled clinicians, committed to delivering excellent patient care and fostering professional growth.

The post holder will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload and delivering assessment and rehabilitation for patients with dysphagia and/or communication impairments across the clinical areas covered within the rotation.

There is a strong emphasis on collaborative multidisciplinary team (MDT) working, ensuring integrated and patient-centred care.

The role includes access to FEES (Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) and Video fluoroscopy, supporting dysphagia assessment and management.

You will have opportunities to contribute to service development and quality improvement projects. The SLT Team has recently undertaken training in Quality Improvement methodology and now actively applies this approach to enhance service delivery.

Requirements:
