Job Title: Room Leader – Pre-school
Salary: £29,000 – 33,000 per annum DOE
Working hours: 42.5 hours per week
Location: Banstead, Surrey
Are you the kind of person who knows The Gruffalo story without the book, can turn a pile of bricks into a castle and know that each day with children is never the same?
Then we need you!
As a Room Leader at Shapes, you’ll:
• Create fun, engaging activities that spark the children’s interests and imagination
• Build warm, positive relationships with children, parents and the team
• Support children’s learning, development and well-being every day
• Manage and support a team of 4 staff
• 32 fun and friendly little people, to make you smile every day!
What we are looking for:
• Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent
• Previous Room Leader experience desired but not essential
• A passion for working with young children
• A fun, reliable and enthusiastic approach
• Someone who works well within a team
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and Safeguarding practices
• Someone who can handle story time, serving lunch and the regular messy moments with a smile!
