You will lead and support a small team of Healthy Lifestyle Advisors, build strong relationships with schools, childrens centres and healthcare professionals, and play a key role in increasing engagement and ensuring the service achieves its yearly targets and outcomes. You will be supported by a wider operations team and internal multidisciplinary team (MDT), giving you the opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced professionals who are equally passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of families. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children and families, thrives on making a meaningful impact in the community, and is motivated by helping others achieve healthier futures. Your key responsibilities will be: Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of the Family Weight Management service to ensure achievement of annual KPIs, targets and outcomes. Manage, support and motivate a team of Healthy Lifestyle Advisors to deliver high-quality interventions across schools, community settings, telephone and virtual platforms. Deliver engaging, age-appropriate healthy lifestyle interventions for children, young people and families through group sessions, workshops and one-to-one support. Working closely with Public Health colleagues and NCMP to maximise engagement, referrals and programme uptake. Develop, review and update evidence-based programme content, educational resources and healthy lifestyle materials to ensure sessions remain engaging and impactful. Build and maintain effective partnerships with schools, childrens centres, healthcare professionals, community organisations and other stakeholders to promote the service and strengthen referral pathways. Work collaboratively with the internal multidisciplinary team (MDT), including healthcare professionals and external partners, to support families with more complex needs. Monitor service performance, referral pathways and engagement data, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation. Ensure high standards of service delivery through quality assurance processes, staff observations, audits and clinical governance procedures. Support the delivery and development of wider healthy lifestyle initiatives and integrated wellbeing pathways where appropriate. Deliver presentations, workshops and promotional events to professionals, stakeholders and community groups to raise awareness of the service. Support the recruitment, induction, training and ongoing development of staff and volunteers. Produce accurate reports and maintain service data in line with organisational and commissioner requirements. Attend and contribute to internal meetings, steering groups, MDT discussions and relevant partnership meetings. This role will be demanding as services develop and should become integrated in all settings. It will be essential that you use your own judgement to prioritise competing demands and workload effectively to specific timescales.
